Join Omar Mouallem, a career-long freelance writer and editor, for a 90-minute webinar that will get you one step closer to writing for your favourite magazines. With bylines as far-ranging as WIRED and Modern Farmer, Omar will walk you through case studies of flawless pitches for a variety of print media and forms, including op-eds, essays to features, how-tos and more. He’ll also offer advice on how to verbally pitch editors over the phone or coffee, finance book projects through freelance articles, and answer any other questions during a Q&A. All registrants receive a digital copy of his handy tip-sheet to guide your next pitches.

This workshop is intended for Canadian writers of all levels. Attendees are not required to register for The 2025 Great Canadian PitchFest, however, writers who have enrolled into PanU & AMPA’s Great Canadian PitchFest this workshop is included in your registration for free.
