Learn the craft of pitching captivating podcast concepts from Mia Lobel, veteran audio producer and the former VP of Content and Production at Pushkin Industries. Through industry analysis, personal anecdotes and case studies, Mia will provide concrete tips and tricks to help you turn your idea or story into an effective, attention-grabbing podcast pitch that will make commissioning editors take notice. You’ll learn how to develop strong, original ideas, sharpen your pitching skills and create polished pitch decks tailored for distributors. Mia will also guide you through crafting a sustainable production and launch plan to take your podcast concept from idea to reality.
Registration for this workshop is free, but donations are encouraged, with proceeds going to support Audio Flux, a donor-supported home for independent audio, new voices, and innovative ideas in podcasting.

Dedicated to a supporting a strong, diverse community of independent audio artists, Audio Flux puts out open call for 3-minute audio works that are shared at live events, online, and soon in a podcast. PREREQUISITE
This workshop is intended for podcasters of all levels. Attendees are not required to apply to PanU & Canadland’s Podcast PitchFest, however, podcasters who have been accepted into PanU & Canadland’s Podcast PitchFest are required to attend this workshop.

ACCESSIBILITY & RECORDING
This webinar is designed for live participation but a recording of the webinar will be provided to all registrants to stream if they’re unable to attend in full or wish to view it again.
