This crash-course with Sulome Anderson will teach you how to arm and armor yourself for the challenges ahead and structure and compose conflict stories in a compelling, accessible way. A foreign correspondent for outlets like Foreign Policy and NBC News, she’ll teach you how to find and pitch stories, gain access, and prepare for an overseas beat (including financially). She’ll also delve into minimizing risk and staying safe, particularly for women, and conducting yourself ethically while reporting on vulnerable populations.
