Are you a BIPOC creator with a great idea for a podcast? Would you like to develop your idea with an award-winning podcast producer at Pandemic University School of Writing?

Podcast Bestie and PanU will award one spot in our upcoming class Start, Sustain, and Monetize Your Podcast to a BIPOC person who wants to produce an original podcast show idea, or who wishes take an existing show to the next level.

Taught by an industry pro Courtney Kocak—creator of Podcast Bestie, Private Parts Unknown, and The Bleeders and producer of top podcasts PayPal’s Never Stand Still and Girlboss Radio—this seven-week online course can help you develop your show into a revenue stream and teach you how to level up your skills in a growing industry.

To apply, simply submit a short description of your show or idea and an explanation for  why the world needs to hear the podcast you hope to develop through the course—or how this course would aid in your professional development.

Apply using the form below by 11:59pm ET on January 12, 2023. The value of this course is $415 CAD (~$305 USD) and spots are limited to 16 students. Please apply only if:

  • Have an idea for a podcast or podcast series
  • You are BIPOC: Black, Indigenous (Continental American) or Person of Color
  • Can commit to an intensive schedule (Thursdays, 7–8:30pm ET, from Jan. 26-March 9, 2023)
  • Have some podcasting or audio experience
