Format
2-hr. masterclass w/ Q&A + personal feedback (stream B students only)

In a world where every place has been discovered, what is the point of travel writing? In this workshop, we will discuss narrative travel journalism as a literary art form – rather than a collection of banal hotel reviews and dispatches from distant spas. When writers go off to seek stories in the great wide world, what are their goals and responsibilities, how do they portray the Other, and, most importantly, how do they compose work that matters?

For an additional fee, students can upgrade to Stream B to receive tailored feedback from Marcello on a travel story of up to 3,000 words. Only 10 spots available.
