Kaitlin Fontana
Format
3-hr. masterclass with Q&A + personal feedback (Stream B only)

You have an idea for a TV show but you don’t know where to start. In this 3-hour masterclass, Emmy-nominated TV and film writer Kaitlin Fontana will help guide your idea to a logline (a short description of the who, what, and why of your series) and set you on a path to begin writing your outline. Along the way you’ll gain an understanding of how to craft the TV pilot episode arc of your show while also setting yourself up for the long arc of a season of TV. You’ll learn language and craft that will help you move towards a finished outline and set you up for the next step: Writing a 30- or 60-minute TV pilot script.

For an additional fee, students can upgrade to Stream B to receive tailored feedback from Kaitlin on their TV pilot outline and logline (max 10 pages). Outlines are due one week after class concludes, and feedback from Kaitlin will be returned within one week of submission. Any outlines received after the deadline are not guaranteed feedback but are subject to Kaitlin’s availability and discretion. Only 12 spots available in Stream B.
